We're two guys with a truck, not a data company. This page says exactly what the website collects, why, where it goes, and how to get it deleted — in plain English.

What this covers

This policy covers the HI Junk Removal website and the messages, bookings and photos you send through it. It also covers what happens when you call or text us at the number on this site. Henry & Irvin Junk Removal is the business behind it.

What we collect

Only what you type or send us, plus the basics every web server records:

  • Your name and a way to reach you — an email address or phone number.
  • Where the job is — the town, and the street address when you book a pickup window.
  • What you tell us about the job — the service you pick, your message, notes, and a rough load size if you give one.
  • Photos you send for a ballpark quote.
  • Booking details — the date and two-hour arrival window you choose.
  • Server logs — your IP address and browser type are recorded with each request. We use them to stop spam and abuse (for example, limiting how many forms one connection can submit) and to keep the site running.

We don't ask for payment details on this site. Payment is handled in person when the job is done.

How we use it

  • To answer your message and give you a ballpark or a firm quote.
  • To schedule the pickup, confirm the window, and show up at the right address.
  • To send you a confirmation and, when you change or cancel, to sort that out.
  • To keep records of the jobs we've done.

That's it. We don't add you to marketing lists and we never sell or rent your information to anyone.

Where it goes

Everything you submit through the site is delivered by email to our business Gmail inbox. The website itself doesn't keep a database of your submissions — the email is the record. Specifically:

  • Contact messages and photo-quote requests arrive as an email to us, with your name, contact details, message and any photos attached.
  • Booking requests arrive as an email to us, and a confirmation email goes to you with the details and a calendar file (.ics) you can add to your own calendar.
  • When calendar sync is turned on, the booking also creates an event in our Google Calendar (name, address, town, service and window) so we can see the day at a glance.
  • When texting is turned on and you give us a mobile number, we may send a short text about your booking through our messaging provider (Twilio). Reply STOP to any text to opt out.

Google (Gmail and Calendar), Twilio and our hosting provider process this information on our behalf so we can do the work. We don't share it with anyone else except when the law requires it.

Photos

Photos you send for a quote are emailed to us as attachments and are not stored on the website or its servers. They pass through the server only long enough to be attached to that email. Please don't send photos that show people, documents or anything you'd rather we didn't see — a shot of the pile is all we need.

Hosting, analytics and your browser

  • The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any host, Vercel keeps short-term server logs that can include your IP address.
  • We use Vercel Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and shows us only aggregate numbers (which pages are visited, roughly from where).
  • The site uses your browser's session storage to remember small things during a visit — for example, that you've already seen the intro animation or dismissed a pop-up. That isn't a tracking cookie and it clears when you close the tab.
  • We don't run advertising trackers or social-media pixels on this site. Links to our Instagram and Facebook pages take you to those platforms, which have their own policies.

How long we keep it

Your messages, bookings and photos live in our email inbox. We keep them as long as we need them to do the job, answer follow-up questions, and keep normal business records — then we clear them out. Server logs are kept only for a short time by our hosting provider.

Your choices

  • Delete it: email us at Hgarcia1243@gmail.com or call (401) 441-2541 and we'll delete what you sent. If we've already done a job for you, we may keep the basic record of it (date, address, what we hauled) for accounting.
  • See or fix it: ask and we'll tell you what we have and correct anything that's wrong.
  • Skip the forms: you can always just call or text instead of using the website.
  • Texts: reply STOP to any text from us and we'll stop.

Children

This site is for adults arranging junk removal. It isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us something, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works — say, we add a new way to book — we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. Big changes we'll call out plainly here.
